Hello, I'm a freelance illustrator and Retro Clip Art is my specialty! I enjoy creating graphics that are in the same style as the graphics and advertisements from the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. Please check out my clip art collection http://www.andynortnik.com/retro-clip-art.htm. My appreciation for this style started when I was a very young boy watching such shows as I Love Lucy, Leave it to Beaver and Father Knows Best. Stories of my parent's childhood also sparked my imagination and I wondered what it would have been like growing up in the forties and fifties like my folks. It must have been much less stressful without all of the "modern conveniences" that we have today that keep us moving forward at such a fast pace. Even though I work exclusively on a computer to design my graphics these days, I long for the days when I actually put pen and pencil to paper to create my art. Anyway, if you're a fan of the eras previously mentioned, please let me know. Post your memories of growing up the twenties, thirties, forties and fifties for all of us to share here in my blog. While you're at it, visit my Retro Clip Art by clicking on the icon or the link above and check out my artwork. If you can't find a specific image that you're interested in, contact me via my official website http://www.andynortnik.com and I'll be glad to give you a quote for custom art!
